This medication helps relieve constipation and improves symptoms that may arise from constipation, such as loss of appetite, abdominal distension, abnormal fermentation in the intestines, and hemorrhoids. It is used to alleviate constipation and the uncomfortable symptoms associated with it.

How to take

Adult dose

Individuals aged 15 years and older: Take 3 tablets once daily at bedtime (on an empty stomach). However, for the first dose, take the minimum amount and gradually increase or decrease according to the shape and condition of the stool.

Child dose

Children aged 11 years to under 15 years: Take 2 tablets once daily at bedtime (on an empty stomach). However, for the first dose, take the minimum amount and gradually increase or decrease according to the shape and condition of the stool.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by patients with acute abdominal diseases, intestinal bleeding, or bowel obstruction, and by children under 7 years of age. This medication contains lactose; therefore, individuals with lactose intolerance or certain genetic metabolic disorders should not take it. Those with allergies to soybean oil, soybeans, or peanuts should also refrain from using this medication. It is advisable not to take this medication within 1 hour of consuming antacids or milk. Patients experiencing severe abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, pregnant women or those who may be pregnant, and those currently taking other medications should seek advice from a healthcare professional before taking this medication. Patients on a sodium-restricted diet, those with rectal bleeding, or those with a history of bowel failure should also exercise caution. Patients with issues related to fat metabolism or specific lipid-related diseases should use this medication with care. If symptoms such as rash, redness, itching, severe abdominal pain, diarrhea, or vomiting occur while taking this medication, cease use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. If abdominal discomfort or cramping occurs or if constipation persists for more than a week, discontinue use and consult a doctor. Be sure to adhere to the prescribed dosage and administration, and when giving to children, supervision by a guardian is required. In particular, it is advisable to avoid use in children under 10 years of age if possible. When taking, do not chew the tablets, and it is important not to use this medication for an extended period exceeding one week. If daily use of a laxative is necessary, the cause of constipation must be determined. Patients with a risk of lipid overload should regularly check their blood lipid levels and adjust the dosage of this medication accordingly. In cases of co-administration with other injectable lipid products, the amount of lipids contained in this medication should be taken into account for adjustments.
