Precautions
This medication can put a strain on the liver, so individuals who regularly consume more than three glasses of alcohol daily should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking it. If severe rashes, blisters, or red spots appear on the skin during treatment, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. Since this medication contains acetaminophen, care must be taken not to exceed 4,000mg in one day, and it should not be taken in conjunction with other acetaminophen-containing products. Also, due to the pseudoephedrine ingredient in this medication, severe skin reactions such as fever or small blisters may occur, so if such symptoms occur, stop taking the medication and consult a professional. Individuals who are allergic to this medication or its components, have a history of asthma, are under three months of age, are taking certain antidepressants, are allergic to soybean oil, soy, or peanuts, or have uncontrolled hypertension should not take this medication. During treatment, it is safer not to take cough medications, other cold medicines, antipyretic analgesics, sedatives, or antihistamines together. Children who have had or are suspected to have chickenpox or influenza, individuals with allergic tendencies, those with liver, kidney, or heart disease, gastrointestinal issues, hypertension, diabetes, and pregnant or nursing women should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. If symptoms such as skin rash, itching, vomiting, dizziness, insomnia occur after taking the medication, stop taking it immediately and consult a professional, and seek immediate medical attention if severe allergic reactions, difficulty breathing, jaundice, high fever, or severe headache occur. It is generally advised not to use this medication in children under the age of 2, and if necessary, a doctor's consultation should be obtained. This medication must be used according to the prescribed dosage and duration and should not be used for an extended period; alcohol should be avoided during treatment. Drowsiness may occur with this medication, so driving or operating machinery should be avoided, and caution is needed when taken with specific drugs or alcohol as it may affect drug metabolism. Patients with metabolic issues related to fat or high plasma lipid levels should check their condition with blood tests before and after taking this medication. When storing this medication, keep it in a tightly closed container away from children, avoid direct sunlight, and store in a cool, dry place. Additionally, it should not be transferred to another container and should remain in its original container to prevent incorrect use.
