This medication is used to treat constipation. It is effective in alleviating symptoms such as appetite loss, abdominal bloating, intestinal dysbiosis, and hemorrhoids that can occur due to constipation. In other words, it helps improve various discomforts associated with constipation.

How to take

Adult dose

Ages 15 and older: 2 tablets per dose Take once daily at bedtime on an empty stomach. For the first dose, take the minimum amount and adjust slightly according to the shape and condition of the stool.

Child dose

Ages 11 to under 15: 1-2 tablets per dose Ages 7 to under 11: 1 tablet per dose Take once daily at bedtime on an empty stomach. For the first dose, take the minimum amount and monitor the bowel movement.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by patients with acute abdominal conditions or intestinal obstruction, and children under 7 years old. Moreover, individuals with genetic issues related to lactose intolerance should not use this medication. It is advisable not to take this medicine within one hour of consuming antacids or milk. Patients with severe abdominal pain or vomiting symptoms, pregnant women or those who could become pregnant, and individuals taking other medications should consult a healthcare professional before using this medicine. Those following a sodium-restricted diet or with a history of rectal bleeding or intestinal failure should also discuss with their doctor. Furthermore, caution is advised for those allergic to Yellow No. 4 (Tartrazine) included in this medication. If any symptoms like skin rash, redness, itching, severe abdominal pain, diarrhea, or vomiting occur during use, stop taking the medicine immediately and consult a professional. If abdominal discomfort or cramps occur, or constipation is not improved after using for more than a week, stop taking and consult a doctor. Adhere closely to the prescribed dosage and administration, and administer to children under the supervision of a guardian, avoiding use in children under 10 years old if possible. This medication should be swallowed whole without chewing, and prolonged use may lead to drug tolerance or worsening of constipation, so it should not be used continuously for more than a week.
