This medication is effective in relieving symptoms associated with constipation. It is used to improve loss of appetite, abdominal bloating, abnormal fermentation in the intestines, and hemorrhoid symptoms that may occur due to constipation. Thus, it helps reduce constipation and the discomfort it causes.
1 to 3 tablets taken once a day at bedtime (on an empty stomach). Ages 15 years and older: 1 to 3 tablets
Ages 11 years to under 15 years: 2/3 to 2 tablets once The initial dose should be the minimum amount, and the dosage should be adjusted gradually based on the shape and condition of the stool.
This drug should not be taken by patients with acute abdominal conditions or intestinal obstruction, and by children under 7 years old. Additionally, this drug contains lactose, so patients with lactose intolerance or certain genetic problems should not take it. It is advisable not to take this medication within 1 hour after consuming antacids or milk. Patients experiencing severe abdominal pain or vomiting, pregnant women or those who may become pregnant, individuals taking other medications, people on a sodium-restricted diet, or those with a history of rectal bleeding or bowel failure should consult a healthcare professional before taking this drug. If symptoms such as rash, redness, itching, severe abdominal pain, diarrhea, or vomiting occur during use, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. If abdominal discomfort or cramps occur or constipation does not improve after 1 week of use, discontinue and seek advice. This medication must be taken according to the prescribed dosage and instructions, and supervision is required when administering it to children. Particularly, children under 10 years old should avoid taking it if possible, and the tablets should be swallowed whole without chewing. Long-term use may lead to tolerance and worsening of constipation, so it is important not to use it for more than a week continuously. If you need a laxative every day, the cause of constipation must be investigated. This medication should be kept out of reach of children and stored in a sealed container in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. To maintain quality, it is safe not to transfer it to another container.
