Disinfection effect of ultrasound probes and non-invasive medical devices
View approved original textHide original text
Disinfection of ultrasound probes and non-invasive medical devices is extremely important for patient safety. These medical devices are used on multiple patients, so a thorough disinfection process is necessary to prevent infections. Non-invasive devices often come into contact with the skin surface, thus proper disinfection can prevent cross-contamination. In particular, ultrasound probes can be used internally or externally, so the risk of infection can be significantly reduced depending on the disinfection method used. Therefore, it is necessary to use the appropriate disinfectant and follow established disinfection guidelines. This process is crucial for maintaining patient safety and device performance.
