Precautions
This medicine should not be taken by those who are allergic to this medicine or any ingredient contained in it. Additionally, infants under 12 months old and patients with severe renal dysfunction should not take this medicine. This medicine should not be taken concurrently with phosphates, calcium salts, oral tetracycline preparations, antacids, and drugs such as levodopa. Children under 1 year old, individuals currently receiving medical treatment, pregnant or potentially pregnant women, nursing women, premature infants or young children, individuals with heart or circulatory issues, those with impaired renal function, patients with hypoproteinemia, etc., should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine. If symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, oral inflammation, loss of appetite, abdominal bloating, red spots, diarrhea, heart rhythm problems, or central nervous system dysfunction occur while taking this medicine, stop taking it immediately and consult a professional. Caution is advised as long-term intake of pyridoxine exceeding 500 mg to 2 g per day may lead to neurological damage. Individuals deficient in folic acid who take vitamin B12 in excess may experience hematological adverse reactions. High-dose consumption may exacerbate peptic ulcers, and may cause glucose metabolism disorders, hyperuricemia, and liver damage, so caution is required. Excessive intake can result in symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, hypernatremia, congestive heart failure, and edema. Particularly, caution should be exercised when taken with anti-aldosterone drugs or triamterene due to the risk of elevated potassium levels in the blood.
