Adult dose

Generally, an adult should take 10 to 15 granules three times a day before meals or between meals.

This medication should not be taken by individuals with gastric or duodenal ulcers. Moreover, as it contains lactose, individuals with lactose intolerance or genetic metabolic disorders should avoid using it. Those with high blood pressure, heart, or kidney diseases must consult a healthcare professional before taking this medication. Caution is also needed for individuals with edema or the elderly, and dosage adjustment may be necessary. It is advisable for individuals currently taking other medications, those with weak stomachs, or those experiencing appetite loss, nausea, or vomiting to consult a healthcare professional. Women with a history of liver disease, those who are pregnant or breastfeeding, and children should seek consultation before use as the safety of the medication has not been established. If symptoms such as decreased urine output, swelling of the face or extremities, elevated blood pressure, or headaches occur while taking this medication, the use should be discontinued immediately and a healthcare professional consulted. If symptoms of muscle weakness, cramps, or paralysis occur, discontinuation and consultation are necessary. Should gastrointestinal disturbances or skin rashes, hives, or suspected signs of liver dysfunction arise, discontinue the medication immediately. If symptoms do not improve, do not continue taking the medication and consult a healthcare professional. Long-term use should be avoided in principle; if long-term use is unavoidable, consultation with a healthcare professional is required. The prescribed dosage and administration must be strictly adhered to, and care should be taken when combined with specific diuretics or medications containing licorice as adverse effects may occur. When taken together with other herbal medicines, be cautious of overlapping ingredients, and those with insufficient sleep are advised to take it with cold water. Do not take it concurrently with herbal medicines that affect the nervous system, and doses should be reduced in patients with low blood pressure. This medication should be stored in a sealed container to prevent exposure to air and moisture, ideally at room temperature between 1°C and 30°C.
