This medication is used for skin diseases characterized by scales and excessive keratinization such as ichthyosis, keratinized eczema, and psoriasis, as well as excessive keratinization of the hands and feet.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Wash the affected area 1-2 times a day, then apply this medication and rub it in thoroughly.

Precautions

This medication should not be used by individuals who have allergies to specific ingredients or have experienced hypersensitivity reactions. Patients with chickenpox or flu, as well as infants and toddlers under 2 years old, should also avoid using this medication. Do not apply this medication around the eyes or to mucous membranes. Patients with kidney or liver dysfunction, or with diabetes or circulatory disorders, should avoid using this medication on large areas or for extended periods. Use should also be avoided on areas with infection, inflammation, redness, irritation, or acute eczema-type skin conditions. It is safer not to apply this medication on moles or warts that have been present since birth, particularly on hairy or genital warts. Other preparations containing salicylic acid should not be used in conjunction with this medication, and it should not be applied to the breasts during breastfeeding. Caution should be taken to prevent contact with the eyes or mucous membranes, and any individuals with kidney or liver dysfunction, pregnant women or those who may become pregnant, nursing mothers, or individuals sensitive to skin irritation must consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. If symptoms such as ear ringing, tinnitus, hearing loss, nosebleeds, nausea, or vomiting occur during use, or if redness, burning sensations, or itching develops on the skin, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. This medication is for external use only and should be used strictly according to the prescribed dosage and administration. Patients with kidney and liver dysfunction should only use this medication on small areas of skin for a short duration and must exercise caution when using during pregnancy. This medication may result in increased toxicity or side effects such as hypoglycemia when used in conjunction with other medications containing specific ingredients, so caution is needed. Do not apply directly to wounds, ulcers, or chafed areas, and this medication should only be used after treating any purulent skin infections or moist conditions. When using this medication on extensive areas, there is a higher risk of side effects. If this medication is accidentally ingested, consult a doctor or pharmacist immediately, and take care to avoid contact with the eyes, nose, mouth, and other mucous membranes. When using for children, supervision by a guardian is necessary. When storing, keep in a cool and dry place out of the reach of children, and avoid direct sunlight. Store in the original container, and do not use products with damaged containers or those past their expiration date; it is recommended to use the product as soon as possible after opening.
