It is advisable not to take this medication in conjunction with levodopa, as the vitamin B6 contained in this medication can reduce the effectiveness of levodopa. Patients receiving treatment from a doctor or those who are pregnant or breastfeeding should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. If symptoms do not improve after taking this medication for about a month, you should stop taking it and consult a healthcare professional. If skin reactions such as hives, rash, or itching occur, stop taking it immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. High doses of vitamin B6 can be harmful to nerves, so care should be taken not to exceed 1 gram per day. Additionally, long-term use of this medication for more than 6 months may pose a risk of neuropathy. If neonates or infants take this medication, serious side effects such as severe drowsiness, low blood pressure, or respiratory distress may occur, so caution is required. If this medication is overdosed, stop taking it immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. This medication should be taken strictly according to the prescribed dosage and method. Certain medications, alcohol, or oral contraceptives containing estrogen can lead to vitamin B6 deficiency if taken for an extended period, so caution is advised. Moreover, the drug 5-fluorouracil can inactivate thiamine, so caution is needed when taking them together.
