How to take

Adult dose

Adults: Take 1 tablet once daily

Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients with hypercalcemia (abnormally high levels of calcium in the blood) or those with sarcoidosis, a systemic inflammatory disease of unknown cause, and in patients with kidney disease. Also, individuals with allergies to the components contained in this medication, infants under 12 months of age, patients with kidney stones, and those with severe renal failure should not take this medication. During the use of this medication, it is advisable not to take drugs such as phosphates, calcium salts, oral tetracycline antibiotics, and antacids. Infants under 1 year, currently treated patients, children exposed to a lot of sunlight, pregnant or potentially pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, premature infants, and patients with heart or circulatory system issues should consult with a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. Additionally, patients with kidney impairment, hypoproteinemia, those taking cardiac glycosides, and people with a history of kidney stones should exercise caution. This medication contains the pigment Yellow No. 5, and individuals allergic to this component should take it carefully. If symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, hypotension, flushing, arrhythmia, or skin rash occur during the use of this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a medical professional. Moreover, gastrointestinal symptoms, heart-related issues, and edema may arise due to overdose, and prolonged use may lead to hypercalcemia or stone formation, so caution is necessary. Especially, co-administration with aldosterone antagonists or triamterene can dangerously elevate serum potassium levels, so caution is advised. If symptoms do not improve within a month after taking this medication, consult a medical professional. This medication should be taken strictly according to the prescribed dosage and administration, and should be given to children under the supervision of a guardian. Additionally, teas high in tannins such as green tea or black tea should be avoided during or around the time of taking this medication. When storing, keep it in a tightly sealed container away from children, avoid direct sunlight, and store it in a cool, dry place. Finally, do not transfer the medication to another container as it is important to maintain the original packaging to prevent misuse and maintain quality.
