This medication is used to relieve skin problems caused by allergic dermatitis, cosmetic irritation, heat rash, itching, contact dermatitis (diaper rash), and shaving irritation. It helps soothe skin irritation and maintain healthy skin.
Apply an appropriate amount to the affected area several times a day or apply to gauze and then place it on the affected area.
This medication should not be used on wounds or mucosal areas. It is advisable not to use it in patients with skin infections caused by bacteria, fungi, viruses, or animals, as symptoms may worsen. This medication should not be used on areas with pus, and those allergic to this medication or its ingredients should avoid its use. Patients with perforated tympanic membranes should beware as healing may be delayed. It is best not to use this medication in patients with ulcers, severe burns, or frostbite, as skin regeneration may be inhibited and recovery may be prolonged. This medication is also not suitable for those with perioral dermatitis, common acne, or rosacea. Individuals with allergies or a history of allergic reactions to medications or cosmetics should use it with caution. Pregnant or breastfeeding women and children should take precautions when using this medication. This medication contains propylene glycol, so those allergic to this substance should be careful. While using this medication, side effects such as skin infections, rash, itching, or skin dryness may occur, and if symptoms worsen, use should be stopped immediately and a professional consulted. Prolonged or extensive use may lead to side effects such as skin thinning or vascular dilation, so caution is needed. Using this medication excessively or in conjunction with occlusive dressings may result in systemic side effects, requiring regular check-ups. When applied near the eyes, caution is especially advised due to the risk of increased intraocular pressure or glaucoma, and care should be taken to avoid contact with the eyes. The safety of this medication during pregnancy has not been established, so use should be avoided if possible and only under physician guidance when necessary. Caution is also required during breastfeeding, as this medication may be transmitted through breast milk. Children absorb more medication per body surface area, increasing the risk of side effects, so it should be used under adult supervision, especially in diaper-wearing areas. This medication is for external use only and should not be taken orally. After use, it should be stored in a cool and dry place out of reach of children, and expired products should not be used. Rarely, during or after treatment, psoriatic erythroderma or pustular psoriasis may occur, so if any unusual symptoms arise, a professional should be consulted immediately.
