This medication is used for patients who need to simultaneously treat hypertension and hyperlipidemia. Olmesartan Medoxomil effectively improves essential hypertension, while Rosuvastatin helps treat hypercholesterolemia and various dyslipidemias. Additionally, Rosuvastatin is used to slow the progression of atherosclerosis and reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases. In particular, it reduces the risk of stroke, myocardial infarction, and artery revascularization in men over 50 years old and women over 60 years old with multiple cardiovascular risk factors. By combining these two medications, blood pressure and cholesterol levels are controlled and cardiovascular health is improved.
