Precautions
This medication should not be taken by individuals who have an allergic reaction to this drug or any of its components. Also, it is safe for infants under 3 months old to avoid this medication. It is important not to take this medication while concurrently using a drug called levodopa. Patients undergoing treatment should always consult with their doctor, dentist, or pharmacist before taking this drug. If symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, loose stools, or diarrhea occur during use, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. Additionally, long-term use of pyridoxine in doses between 500 mg to 2 grams per day can lead to peripheral nerve issues. High-dose use may worsen peptic ulcers or decrease blood sugar control ability and may increase uric acid levels in the blood or pose a risk of liver damage. If an overdose is mistakenly taken or symptoms do not improve after about a month of use, consult a professional immediately. This medication must be taken in the prescribed dosage and method, and urine may turn yellow during use, which can affect clinical test results.
