Improvement of gastric ulcers and upper gastrointestinal bleeding (peptic ulcers, acute stress ulcers)
This medication is used for the treatment of upper gastrointestinal bleeding caused by gastric and duodenal ulcers, anastomotic ulcers, and peptic ulcers as well as acute stress ulcers. It is also effective in hemorrhagic gastritis, gastroesophageal reflux disease, and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. It helps improve erosion, bleeding, redness, and swelling of the gastric mucosa during acute exacerbations of acute and chronic gastritis. It is used to improve various ulcerative and inflammatory conditions related to the gastrointestinal tract.
For gastric ulcers, duodenal ulcers, upper gastrointestinal bleeding, gastroesophageal reflux disease, and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome: 20 mg orally twice a day (after breakfast, after dinner, or at bedtime) or 40 mg orally once a day (at bedtime). In cases of upper gastrointestinal bleeding, treatment usually starts with an injection, and when oral administration becomes possible, it is switched to oral administration. For acute gastritis and acute exacerbation of chronic gastritis: 10 mg orally.
