Relief of moderate to severe acute and chronic pain
This medication is used to effectively relieve moderate to severe acute and chronic pain.
Adjust the dosage according to the patient's level of pain and response to treatment. A starting dose of 1 tablet is recommended, after which the dosing interval should be at least 12 hours apart, with a maximum of 4 tablets per day. Do not use this medicine for an extended period beyond what is necessary, and if prolonged use is required, regular monitoring should be conducted to confirm the need for continued medication. While dosing, nausea, vomiting, itching, constipation, and dizziness can occur.
This medicine may put a strain on the liver, so those who regularly consume more than three alcoholic drinks a day should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking it. Acetaminophen, included in this medicine, can cause liver damage, so caution is particularly needed for those with impaired liver function. Rarely, serious skin rash or allergic reactions may occur after taking this medicine; if there are any abnormal skin changes, stop taking it immediately and consult a healthcare professional. The tramadol component in this medication may increase the risk of seizures, so patients with a history of seizures or at high risk of seizures should take it with caution. Tramadol can increase the risk of seizures or serious side effects when taken with certain antidepressants or other central nervous system medications, so follow the instructions of a professional when co-administering. This medicine can rarely cause serious allergic reactions; if symptoms such as difficulty breathing, hives, or facial swelling occur, immediate medical attention is required. For patients with acute severe asthma, taking this medicine increases the risk of respiratory depression, and it should only be administered carefully in the presence of a healthcare professional. Caution is needed when taking this medicine with alcohol or benzodiazepines, as it may cause serious side effects like sedation or respiratory depression. Patients with head injuries or increased intracranial pressure should be careful when taking this medicine, as respiratory depression may worsen their condition. Tramadol can cause physical and mental dependence, creating a risk of dependence with long-term use; therefore, strict adherence to the prescribed duration and dosage by a physician is required. This medicine should not be administered to children under 12 years or adolescents under 18 years post-surgery, as it poses a risk of life-threatening respiratory depression in children. While taking this medicine, drowsiness or dizziness may occur, so driving or operating dangerous machinery should be avoided. In case of overdose, severe respiratory depression, liver damage, seizures, etc. may occur, so do not exceed the prescribed dosage and contact medical institutions immediately if overdose is suspected.
