Precautions

Patients who regularly consume more than three glasses of alcohol daily should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. This is because the medication can cause liver damage. Additionally, this medication contains acetaminophen and taking it together with other acetaminophen products can exceed the maximum daily dosage. In this case, there is a risk of liver damage, so it is essential not to take it with other acetaminophen-containing products. People allergic to chlorzoxazone or acetaminophen should not take this medication. Those with severe liver or kidney dysfunction, or a history of allergies should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should also consult a specialist before taking this medication and only take it if the therapeutic benefits outweigh the risks. If allergic symptoms such as hives, redness, and itching occur during use, the medication should be stopped immediately. Rarely, symptoms such as skin rash, bleeding, or changes in urine color may occur, and in severe cases, acute allergic reactions such as swelling or anaphylaxis may arise. This medication can affect liver function, so if liver dysfunction is suspected, it should be discontinued and a doctor consulted. Occasionally gastrointestinal disorders or gastrointestinal bleeding may occur, so caution is necessary. Additionally, symptoms such as drowsiness, dizziness, headache, lethargy, or excessive excitation may occur. Care should be taken if taken with alcohol or central nervous system depressants as interactions may occur. Finally, keep out of reach of children, avoid direct sunlight, and store in a cool, dry place. It is also important not to transfer the medication to another container to maintain its quality.
