This medication contains Valsartan, used to reduce the risk of death after myocardial infarction, as well as Rosuvastatin, used to reduce several forms of hypercholesterolemia and cardiovascular disease risk. Valsartan is primarily used to reduce the risk of death in patients with essential hypertension, heart failure, or impaired left ventricular function after myocardial infarction. Rosuvastatin helps lower cholesterol levels in patients with hypercholesterolemia, inhibits the progression of atherosclerosis, and reduces the risk of cardiovascular disease, stroke, and myocardial infarction. These two components must be administered together and are effective in improving cardiovascular health and reducing risk.
