This medication is used to treat gastric and duodenal ulcers, anastomotic ulcers, as well as upper gastrointestinal bleeding due to peptic ulcers and acute stress ulcers. It is also effective for gastroesophageal reflux disease and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. It helps improve erosion, bleeding, redness, and swelling of the gastric mucosa that occurs during acute exacerbations of acute and chronic gastritis. Thus, it plays a significant role in effectively treating various lesions of the gastric mucosa and alleviating symptoms, contributing to the recovery of the patient's gastrointestinal health.
