This medication is used to relieve constipation. It also helps with poor appetite, abdominal bloating, abnormal fermentation in the intestines, and alleviating symptoms of hemorrhoids caused by constipation. Therefore, it is effective in improving various symptoms associated with constipation.

How to take

Adult dose

Persons aged 15 and older: Take 1 to 2 capsules once daily at bedtime (on an empty stomach). Start with the minimum amount and adjust dosage gradually based on the shape and condition of the stool.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by patients with acute abdominal diseases, gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcerative colitis, or bowel obstruction. It is also advisable not to take this medication if you have allergies to soybean oil, soy, or peanuts. While taking this medication, it is recommended not to take antacids or milk within one hour after ingestion. Individuals experiencing severe abdominal pain, nausea, or vomiting, pregnant women or those who might become pregnant, and those taking other medications should consult with a doctor or pharmacist before use. Patients on a sodium-restricted diet or with a history of gastrointestinal bleeding or bowel dysfunction need to be cautious. Individuals with issues in fat metabolism such as hyperlipidemia, diabetic hyperlipidemia, or pancreatitis should use this medication cautiously, and those allergic to Yellow No. 5 should also be careful. If symptoms such as skin rash, redness, itching, severe abdominal pain, diarrhea, or vomiting occur while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. It is important to stop taking the medication and consult an expert if abdominal discomfort or cramps occur or if constipation does not improve after one week of use. The prescribed dosage and administration guidelines must be strictly followed, and children under 10 years of age should generally not take this medication unless under special circumstances. Long-term use may lead to tolerance or worsening of constipation, so it should not be taken continuously for more than one week. If a daily laxative is needed, the cause of constipation should be identified. Patients at risk of fat overload should use this medication while monitoring blood lipid levels, and if other lipid-regulating injections are used, lipid amounts should be adjusted accordingly.
