Relief of allergy symptoms such as allergic rhinitis (rhinitis, conjunctivitis) and dermatitis
This medication is used for allergic reactions such as allergic rhinitis, conjunctivitis, dermatitis, and chronic urticaria.
For adults and children aged 12 years and older, administer 10mg of Evastin orally once daily. Adjust dose appropriately according to age and symptoms.
For children aged 6-11 years, administer 5mg once daily.
This medication contains lactose and may cause hypersensitivity reactions such as diarrhea in children or adolescents sensitive to lactose; consult a doctor if such symptoms occur. Patients with an allergic reaction to this medication or with severely impaired liver function should not take it. Caution is needed for patients with liver disease or a history of liver issues, as liver function may worsen while taking this medication. Patients taking medications that may affect heart rate or those with abnormal heart rhythms should use this medication cautiously. Caution is required when taken with certain antifungals or antibiotics, as drug concentration may increase. Side effects such as palpitations, drowsiness, irritability, nausea, and vomiting may occur; if unusual symptoms arise, inform a doctor. When performing tasks requiring concentration, such as driving or operating machinery, one should check their response to this medication thoroughly before doing so. This medication is not suitable for emergency situations as it does not provide rapid relief of allergy symptoms. Pregnant women or those who may become pregnant should consult a doctor before cautious use as the safety of this medication is not confirmed. Breastfeeding women should discontinue nursing, as this medication may pass into breast milk. The safety of this medication has not been established for children under 6 years old, so it is advisable not to use it in this age group. This medication may affect allergy test results, so it should not be taken before the test. No serious toxic reactions have been reported in case of overdose, but appropriate treatment and monitoring under a doctor's direction are necessary. This medication should be stored out of reach of children and not transferred to other containers to maintain quality.
