This medication is used for patients who need to take a combination of Pimodipine/Amlodipine and Rosuvastatin simultaneously. The Pimodipine/Amlodipine combination is applicable to patients with essential hypertension who have difficulty controlling blood pressure with monotherapy. Rosuvastatin is used as an adjunct treatment for patients with primary hypercholesterolemia and combined dyslipidemia that cannot be controlled by diet and exercise. Additionally, it is prescribed as an adjunct to diet for patients with homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia or dysbetalipoproteinemia. This medication helps lower total cholesterol and LDL cholesterol levels, delays the progression of atherosclerosis, and reduces the risk of cardiovascular diseases, stroke, myocardial infarction, and vascular reintervention. Thus, it is used to improve cardiovascular health by managing both blood pressure and cholesterol.
