This medication is used to prevent and relieve dizziness, vomiting, and headaches caused by motion sickness.

How to take

Adult dose

Ages 15 years and older: 1 dose of 2 pouches (12mL) For prevention of motion sickness, take 30 minutes before travel. If additional doses are needed, take 1 dose at intervals of more than 4 hours. The maximum number of doses in a day is limited to 3.

Child dose

Ages 11 years to under 15 years: 1 dose of 11/3 pouches (8mL) Ages 7 years to under 11 years: 1 dose of 1 pouch (6 mL) Ages 3 years to under 7 years: 1 dose of 2/3 pouch (4 mL)

Precautions

This medicine contains aspartame, an artificial sweetener. Aspartame is broken down in the body into a substance called phenylalanine, and patients with phenylketonuria, a genetic disorder that requires restriction of this substance, should not take this medicine. Furthermore, the daily allowable amount of aspartame is regulated not to exceed the WHO recommended amount of 40mg/kg, so adults should be careful not to exceed a maximum daily dosage of 2.4g. This medication is not safe for use in breastfeeding women and children under 3 years old. It is recommended not to take this medication together with other antiemetics, cold medicines, antipyretic analgesics, antihistamines, sedatives, and cough suppressants during use. Those who have had allergic reactions, are pregnant or may become pregnant, have glaucoma or urination problems, are taking other medications, or have respiratory diseases such as emphysema or chronic bronchitis should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine. If symptoms of allergies such as skin rash, redness, itching, or dry throat occur while taking the medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. This medication should strictly follow the prescribed dosage and administration, and supervision is required when given to children. Drowsiness may occur while taking this medicine, so it is safer to avoid driving or operating hazardous machinery. If a portion of a pouch is used, the remaining medication should be sealed well and used within 2 days. It is advisable not to consume alcoholic beverages while taking this medication. This medicine should be stored out of reach of children, protected from direct sunlight, and kept in a cool, dry place in a sealed container. Additionally, to prevent misuse and maintain quality, do not transfer the medication to another container.
