  • Essential hypertension
View approved original text

This medication is used to effectively control blood pressure in patients with essential hypertension. Additionally, it helps reduce the risk of myocardial infarction, stroke, and death due to cardiovascular diseases in chronic cardiovascular disease risk patients over the age of 55 who cannot use ACE inhibitors. This improves cardiovascular health and reduces the likelihood of complications. Therefore, it is effectively used for both hypertension management and cardiovascular disease prevention.
