This drug can affect the cardiovascular system, increasing the risk of serious thrombotic reactions such as myocardial infarction or stroke; thus, individuals with cardiovascular diseases or risk factors should exercise even more caution. Serious adverse reactions such as bleeding, ulcers, or perforations may occur in the gastrointestinal tract, and the risk is particularly higher in the elderly or those on long-term treatment. Individuals with peptic ulcers, severe blood disorders, liver dysfunction, renal impairment, or heart failure should not take this medication, and those with allergic reactions or sensitivity to aspirin should also avoid it. Gastrointestinal symptoms may include stomach pain, nausea, and diarrhea, and severe ulcerations or bleeding can occur; therefore, if any abnormal symptoms occur, discontinuation of the medication is necessary. Central nervous system side effects may include headaches and dizziness, which can occur rarely, so caution is required when driving or operating machinery. Severe rash or hypersensitivity reactions such as anaphylaxis may occur; thus, if these symptoms develop, the medication should be stopped immediately, and medical attention should be sought. Blood tests may show abnormalities such as reduced red blood cells or platelets; therefore, regular blood tests are necessary during long-term use. This medication can affect liver and kidney function, and if any abnormal symptoms or test results are observed, discontinuation and appropriate treatment must be initiated. It is essential to take this medication at the minimal dose and duration appropriate for treatment, and if taken long-term, regular checks should be conducted as per a physician's advice. Particularly during the later stages of pregnancy, taking this medication can pose risks to the fetus; therefore, it should be avoided. Nursing women are also advised not to use this drug. Elderly patients may have reduced kidney function, leading to increased drug concentration; thus, dose and frequency should be adjusted, and careful use is warranted. Interactions may occur when used with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, diuretics, anticoagulants, lithium, or methotrexate, so it is crucial to consult with healthcare professionals. The safety of this medication has not been established in children, so it is preferable to avoid administering it to them.
