  • Chronic persistent hepatitis
View approved original text

Chronic persistent hepatitis with continuously elevated SGPT levels indicates a state of liver dysfunction and ongoing inflammation. In such cases, treatment is necessary to prevent hepatocyte damage and alleviate inflammation. Treatment for chronic persistent hepatitis helps restore liver health and slow the progression of the disease. Therefore, medications used for this condition focus on improving liver function and alleviating hepatitis. Patients can improve their liver condition through this treatment with continuous management.

Precautions

This medication should never be administered to patients with complete bile duct obstruction. Also, this medication contains lactose, which may pose risks to patients with genetic issues such as galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption. If symptoms do not improve or if unusual symptoms arise after prolonged use, discontinue immediately and consult a physician or pharmacist. It is important to keep this medication out of the reach of children. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should refrain from taking this medication as it may harm the fetus.
