Precautions

This medication can increase heart rate, which may increase the risk of angina symptoms, so symptoms like chest pain should be monitored carefully. It should not be administered to patients at high risk of bleeding or those who have recently had a hemorrhagic stroke or surgery. Patients with heart failure, those allergic to the components of this medication, and women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should also avoid taking it. Patients taking anticoagulants or antiplatelet drugs that increase bleeding risk should be especially cautious, and women during menstruation should be administered carefully due to the risk of bleeding. Patients with severely decreased kidney or liver function, diabetes, hypertension, or cardiac arrhythmias should also be cautious when taking this medication. Side effects such as headache, diarrhea, palpitations, joint pain, and chest discomfort may occur. If severe bleeding, pneumonia, or abnormal blood symptoms occur, the medication should be stopped immediately, and a doctor should be consulted. This medication may cause dizziness, so caution should be exercised when driving or operating machinery. It is recommended to take it on an empty stomach as taking it with food may increase drug levels in the blood. Since this medication can interact with other drugs, it is important to inform the healthcare provider of any other medications being taken, especially those that inhibit liver metabolic enzymes, as dose adjustments may be necessary. Women who are pregnant or of childbearing potential should not take this medication, and breastfeeding should be discontinued if taking it. Children and the elderly have different body functions, so special care should be taken with their administration. In cases of overdose, severe headache, diarrhea, hypotension, and cardiac arrhythmias may occur, so immediate medical attention is required.
