Adult dose
Typically, rabeprazole sodium is administered orally to adults once daily at a dose of 10 mg. Depending on the symptoms, it may be administered orally at a dose of 20 mg once daily. Erosive or ulcerative gastroesophageal reflux disease: Administer 10 mg or 20 mg once daily for 4 to 8 weeks. If untreated, an additional dose of 10 mg or 20 mg for another 8 weeks may be considered.

This medicine is used for the treatment of ulcers and erosive gastroesophageal reflux disease occurring in the stomach and duodenum. It also relieves the symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease and is effective for long-term maintenance therapy. For patients with gastrointestinal ulcers infected with Helicobacter pylori, it is used in combination with antibiotics. It is also helpful in conditions of excessive gastric acid secretion such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. It is used to treat a variety of gastrointestinal diseases and relieve symptoms.

How to take

Adult dose

Typically, rabeprazole sodium is administered orally to adults once daily at a dose of 10 mg. Depending on the symptoms, it may be administered orally at a dose of 20 mg once daily.
