This medication is used to relieve various types of pain, including headache, toothache, throat pain, ear pain, joint pain, neuralgia, back pain, and muscle pain. It is also effective in reducing pain caused by menstrual pain, bruising, fractures, and sprains. In addition, it has an antipyretic effect to lower body temperature when fever and chills are present. Therefore, this medication is very useful for pain relief and fever reduction. Overall, it is widely used to improve pain and fever.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Aged 15 years and older: 1 to 3 times a day, 1 to 2 capsules each time with an interval of at least 4 hours Avoid taking on an empty stomach.

This medication may cause gastric bleeding in individuals who regularly consume more than three alcoholic beverages a day, so it is important to consult a doctor or pharmacist. Individuals with cardiovascular diseases or risk factors such as hypertension, hyperlipidemia, diabetes, and smokers should consider carefully before taking this medication at high doses for an extended period, as high-dose use may increase the risk of arterial thrombosis, such as myocardial infarction or stroke. Persons who have had allergic reactions to this medication or its components, individuals with a history of asthma, and infants under three months of age should not take this medication. It is important not to take other antipyretic analgesics, cold medications, or sedatives during treatment. Infants infected with chickenpox or influenza and children under the age of 15 must consult a professional before taking this medication, and infants older than three months but under one year should avoid it unless in special circumstances. Individuals with allergic traits, liver, kidney, thyroid diseases, diabetes, hypertension, the elderly, pregnant or lactating women, and those taking other medications should also consult a professional before taking this medication. Caution is also needed for individuals with heartburn, stomach cramps, ulcers, bleeding problems, or dehydration due to vomiting or diarrhea. If symptoms such as rash, itching, nausea, stomach cramps, dizziness, or swelling occur while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. In the event of severe allergic reactions or symptoms such as skin mucosal syndrome, immediate cessation is required. If symptoms do not improve after taking the medication 5~6 times, consult a professional, and overdose may lead to serious side effects like metabolic acidosis. Adhere strictly to the prescribed dosage and administration, avoid prolonged use, and seek proper supervision when administering to children. Avoid alcohol use during treatment, store this medication out of the reach of children, avoid direct sunlight, and store in a cool, dry, airtight container to prevent misuse. Additionally, it is best not to transfer it to other containers to prevent misuse.

Serious side effects

  • Hives, severe swelling, chest tightness, difficulty breathing, cold sweat, pallor → symptoms of anaphylactic shock (hypersensitivity shock)
  • Severe rash with high fever, blisters, peeling skin, pain in mouth/eyes → symptoms of mucocutaneous syndrome (Stevens-Johnson syndrome), symptoms of toxic epidermal necrolysis (Lyell syndrome)
  • Asthma → breathing problems

Mild side effects

Rash, redness (hyperemia), itching, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, constipation, stomach cramps, gastrointestinal bleeding, discomfort in the stomach, dizziness, swelling, photosensitivity reactions, eosinophilia, drug rash with systemic symptoms (DRESS syndrome), metabolic acidosis
