Efficacy & effects

Improvement of blood pressure control in essential hypertension

  • Essential hypertension
View approved original text

For patients with essential hypertension, if controlling blood pressure with amlodipine or telmisartan alone is insufficient, using both medications together can effectively lower blood pressure. This combination helps to dilate blood vessels and maintain stable blood pressure. Treatment can reduce the risk of cardiovascular complications and help maintain a healthier blood pressure state. Therefore, the combination therapy of amlodipine and telmisartan is effectively used in the treatment of hypertension.
