Precautions

This medication may increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding in individuals who regularly consume more than three alcoholic beverages a day, so consultation with a physician or pharmacist is required. This medication can increase the risk of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events, so patients with risk factors for heart disease or cerebrovascular disease should carefully consider whether to take it. This medication can cause serious gastrointestinal adverse reactions such as gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, and perforation, so special caution is required for elderly patients or those with a history of gastrointestinal diseases. Patients with a history of active peptic ulcer or bleeding, or who are allergic to this medication or similar medications, should not take this medication. Patients with impaired kidney or liver function, heart failure, pregnant women in the late stage of pregnancy, nursing mothers, and patients with bleeding disorders should either avoid this medication or use it with extreme caution. If symptoms such as dizziness, skin rash, or gastrointestinal bleeding occur during treatment, immediate consultation with a physician is necessary as serious adverse reactions may occur. This medication may interact with other drugs, so patients currently taking anticoagulants, diuretics, antihypertensives, or antidiabetic medications must consult their physician. During pregnancy, especially in the late stages, it should be avoided as it may harm the fetus, and breastfeeding women should also refrain from taking it. Safety and effectiveness in children or adolescents have not been established, so its use is not recommended. Elderly patients are at increased risk for adverse reactions like gastrointestinal bleeding, so extra caution is needed when administering this medication. In cases of overdose, symptoms such as gastrointestinal irritation, low blood pressure, respiratory depression, and convulsions may appear, requiring immediate medical attention.
