Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients with bacterial, fungal, viral, or animal skin infections, as symptoms may worsen. Moreover, patients with hypersensitivity to this drug or its ingredients, patients with perforated tympanic membrane, eczema of the external auditory canal, patients with ulcers or severe burns, perioral dermatitis, or common acne, and rosacea should avoid its use. This drug should also not be used in cases of hypersensitivity to aminoglycoside antibiotics or bacitracin. The drug contains propylene glycol, so patients allergic to this ingredient or those with hypersensitivity should use it cautiously. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, nursing mothers, and children must consult a physician or pharmacist before use. If any abnormal reactions such as symptoms of infection, irritation, rash, itching, swelling occur during usage, discontinue immediately and consult a professional. Prolonged use may lead to side effects such as skin atrophy, telangiectasia, steroid acne, so it is important to stop usage quickly once symptoms improve. Due to the inclusion of topical corticosteroids, extensive or prolonged use with occlusive dressings may cause systemic absorption resulting in side effects such as adrenal suppression, Cushing's syndrome, or hyperglycemia, so caution is required. Especially in children, the absorption of the medication relative to body surface area is greater than that in adults, increasing the risk of side effects, thus it should be used under parental supervision at the minimum effective dose. This medication should not be used for ophthalmic purposes, and should not be applied after makeup or shaving for non-therapeutic purposes; occlusive dressings should be used as directed by a physician. During storage, keep it out of reach of children and ensure it is tightly closed in its original container.
