Precautions

This medication is not recommended for use in women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Patients who bleed easily or are taking anticoagulants should not use this medication. Patients with significantly impaired liver or kidney function should also avoid this medication. Patients with a history of allergic reactions to any ingredient in this medication should refrain from using it. Patients with hereditary galactose intolerance, lactose deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take this medication. Children under 12 years old should preferably not take this medication. Taking this medication may occasionally cause gastrointestinal symptoms such as stomach pain, heartburn, nausea, or diarrhea. Rarely, mild bleeding symptoms such as gum bleeding or nosebleeds may occur. Allergic reactions such as skin rash, hives, or itching may occur rarely. Very rarely, severe allergic reactions such as facial swelling, difficulty in breathing, or low blood pressure may occur. Be cautious as liver function tests may show elevated levels or symptoms of liver disease such as hepatitis may appear. Platelet levels may drop while taking this medication, but this could also be due to other conditions. If symptoms of liver damage or hepatitis appear, stop taking the medication immediately and consult a physician. If symptoms do not improve within one week after taking the medication, or if symptoms such as fever, difficulty in breathing, or blood in sputum persist, stop taking the medication. It is advised to take the medication sitting or standing rather than lying down. No special interactions with other medications have been reported; however, caution is needed when used with medications that affect blood coagulation. It is preferable for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding to avoid using this medication. Overdosing may exacerbate adverse reactions, so consult a physician in case of overdose. Keep the medication out of reach of children and do not transfer it to other containers for safety.
