This medicine helps improve symptoms of gastrointestinal dysfunction caused by gastroesophageal reflux, hiatal hernia, gastritis, or ulcers, such as abdominal pain, indigestion, nausea, and vomiting. It is also effective in relieving symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome and spastic colon. In children, it is used to treat habitual vomiting and non-infectious gastrointestinal passage disorders, including constipation and diarrhea. It acts effectively on a variety of gastrointestinal diseases, improving symptoms.
As Trimebutine Maleate, 100-200mg should be taken orally three times a day before meals. Adjust as necessary according to age and symptoms.
This medicine contains lactose, so it should not be used by patients with specific genetic conditions that prevent lactose digestion. For example, individuals with galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption disorders may experience harmful health effects from taking this medicine. While taking this medicine, gastrointestinal issues such as constipation, diarrhea, bowel sounds, nausea, vomiting, indigestion, dry mouth, or numbness may rarely occur. A rapid heartbeat symptom may also be experienced rarely. Mentally, symptoms such as fatigue, drowsiness, dizziness, weakness, and headaches may occur rarely, and blood test results indicating liver function may rise. Rarely, hypersensitivity reactions such as skin rashes may occur, and if these symptoms arise, the medication should be discontinued immediately. The safety of this medication has not been sufficiently established during pregnancy, so women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should only use this medication when the potential benefits outweigh the risks. Additionally, the safety of this medication has not been established during breastfeeding, so it should be avoided if possible, and if it must be taken, breastfeeding should be discontinued.

This medication should be stored in an airtight container to prevent air from entering and should be kept at room temperature between 1°C and 30°C. Storing it this way helps maintain its effectiveness.
