Epecaine Tablet

Adult dose

For individuals aged 15 years and older and adults: take 1 tablet, 3 times a day, 30 minutes after meals.

This medication may cause liver damage if taken by individuals who regularly consume more than three glasses of alcohol a day, so it is essential to consult a doctor or pharmacist. Individuals with a history of allergic reactions to this medication or its components, those who have previously experienced asthma, infants under 3 months old, and those currently taking or have recently stopped taking specific antidepressants or antipsychotic MAO inhibitors within the last two weeks should not use this medication. While taking this medication, do not take other oral medications, including cough suppressants, other cold medications, antipyretic analgesics, sedatives, and antihistamines. This medication contains acetaminophen, and caution is advised against exceeding the maximum daily dose if taken with other acetaminophen products, as it may lead to liver damage. Children suspected of having chickenpox or influenza, infants under 2 years old, individuals with allergic or drug allergies, those with liver, kidney, or heart diseases, the elderly, individuals with gastrointestinal issues, pregnant or breastfeeding women, and those currently taking other medications must consult a healthcare professional before use. If symptoms such as rash, itching, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, or, rarely, anaphylactic shock, severe skin conditions, asthma attacks, liver dysfunction, or pneumonia symptoms occur after taking the medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Adhere strictly to the prescribed dosage and duration, avoid prolonged use, and refrain from alcohol while taking this medication. Store out of reach of children and protect from direct sunlight and moisture in a cool, airtight place. Additionally, do not transfer the product to another container, as this may affect its quality.

Serious side effects

• Hives, severe swelling, chest tightness, cold sweat, paleness → severe allergic reaction
• Severe rash with high fever, blisters, skin peeling, pain in the oral/ocular mucosa → severe skin reaction
• Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, asthma attacks, respiratory issues accompanied by cough and fever → respiratory problems
• Yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice), extreme fatigue → liver dysfunction (jaundice)
