Treatment of skin fungal infections such as athlete's foot and tinea cruris caused by dermatophytes.
This medication is used for dermatophyte infections caused by skin fungi, including athlete's foot, jock itch (tinea cruris), and tinea corporis.
Apply an appropriate amount to the affected area once daily.
This medication should not be used by individuals who have previously experienced allergic reactions to specific ingredients. It is also advised that pregnant women, women who may become pregnant, and nursing mothers refrain from using this medication. Furthermore, children and infants should not use this medication. This medication should not be applied to mucosal areas such as the eyes or around the eyes, inside the mouth, nose, or vagina. It should also not be used on areas with eczema or in excessively moist areas, or on severely injured areas. The medication should not be applied to nails or the scalp. Because this medication can be excreted in breast milk, it is safest to discontinue breastfeeding while using it. Individuals undergoing treatment from a physician or with a history of drug allergies should consult an expert before using this medication. Care should also be taken if there is a family history of allergic conditions. If there is uncertainty about whether symptoms are due to eczema or another skin condition, especially if there is itching or injury in the genital area, it is advisable to consult an expert. If using on the face or large areas, or if there is a pus-filled area, consult a doctor before use. This medication contains propylene glycol, and individuals allergic to this ingredient should use it with caution. If any symptoms such as rash, redness, itching, swelling, irritation, heat sensation, scaling, maceration, dryness, tightness, cracking, or mild irritation of the skin and mucous membranes occur while using, discontinue use immediately and consult an expert. If symptoms do not improve after two weeks of use or worsen, discontinue use and seek advice. Always adhere to the recommended usage and dosage, and do not use on unclean areas around the affected area. Care should be taken not to touch the eyes or mucous membranes with hands that have come into contact with this medication; if it accidentally gets into the eyes, rinse immediately with clean water and seek ophthalmic treatment. This medication is an external preparation intended for skin use only and should not be used for other purposes. As slight phototoxicity has been reported in animal studies, caution is needed when using on areas exposed to sunlight. This medication contains benzoic acid, which may cause mild irritation to the skin or eyes and mucous membranes. When not in use, store in a cool place away from direct sunlight, sealed, and out of reach of children. Do not transfer to other containers and never use expired products. It is advisable to use the product as soon as possible after opening to maintain quality.
