This medication is used to treat skin disorders such as itching, insect bites, hives, heat rash, contact dermatitis caused by poison ivy, chilblains, eczema, dermatitis, and maceration.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Apply to the affected area (disease area) once daily to several times.

Precautions

This medication should not be used on infected or festering areas such as chickenpox, athlete's foot, or tinea. People with a history of allergic reactions to drugs or cosmetics, those prone to allergies, individuals with severely moist or wounded skin, those currently undergoing other treatments, and those with extensive lesions should use this medication with caution. Additionally, this medication contains propylene glycol, and individuals allergic to this substance should be particularly cautious. Pregnant women or those who may become pregnant should avoid using this medication on large areas for extended periods, as it can be absorbed through the skin and cause toxic symptoms. If any abnormal reactions such as rashes, redness, itching, or swelling occur during use, discontinue use immediately and consult a specialist. If symptoms of athlete's foot, tinea, acne, suppuration, or persistent irritation occur at the application site, stop using it and consult a doctor or pharmacist. This medication must be used according to the prescribed dosage and method, and parental supervision is required when using it on children. Treatment should be stopped as soon as the symptoms improve, and if symptoms do not improve after 5 to 6 days of use, consult a specialist. Long-term continuous use should be avoided. This medication is for topical use only and should never be ingested. Be careful not to let it get in the eyes; if it does, flush immediately with clean water, and seek ophthalmological care if symptoms are severe. It is advisable not to use the medication before makeup or after shaving for purposes other than treatment. Keep this medication out of reach of children, store it in a tightly closed container away from direct sunlight, and in a cool, dry place.
