This medication is used to improve constipation. It also alleviates symptoms of loss of appetite and abdominal bloating caused by constipation, helping to support patients' digestive health. Additionally, it is effective in improving symptoms of hemorrhoids that may arise from constipation. It promotes overall intestinal health and reduces discomfort in daily life.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Ages 15 and older: Take 2 tablets once daily at bedtime (on an empty stomach). However, for the first dose, take the minimum amount and monitor the shape and condition of the stool before gradually adjusting the dosage.

Children's dosage

Ages 7 to under 15: Take 1 tablet once daily at bedtime (on an empty stomach). However, for the first dose, take the minimum amount and monitor the shape and condition of the stool before gradually adjusting the dosage.

Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients with acute abdominal conditions or bowel obstruction, and in children under 7 years of age. Additionally, patients with a genetic inability to digest lactose should not take this medication. While taking this medication, it should not be taken within 1 hour after taking antacids or milk. Patients with severe abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting symptoms, pregnant women or those who may be pregnant, individuals taking other medications, and those on a sodium-restricted diet should consult a professional before taking this medication. If any skin rash, redness, itching, severe abdominal pain, diarrhea, vomiting, abdominal discomfort, or cramps occur during use, stop taking the medication immediately and consult a professional. Moreover, if constipation does not improve after taking the medication for about a week, consult a professional. This medication must be taken according to prescribed dosages and techniques, and when given to children, it should be administered under the supervision of an adult. Especially in children under 10 years of age, it is advisable to avoid use unless specifically needed. When taking the medication, tablets should be swallowed whole and not chewed, and prolonged use should not exceed 1 week to prevent tolerance to the drug or worsening constipation. If daily laxatives are required, the cause of constipation must be identified. When storing, keep out of reach of children, avoid direct sunlight, and store in a cool, dry place.
