This medication is used to alleviate dry skin and associated itching that occurs in adults, elderly individuals, and children.
Dosage and Administration
Adult dosage
Apply an appropriate amount to the affected area once to several times a day.
Precautions
This medication is not suitable for patients with bleeding blood disorders. It may worsen bleeding in individuals with conditions such as hemophilia, thrombocytopenia, or purpura, which carry a risk of bleeding. Additionally, individuals who may experience serious consequences from even minor bleeding should refrain from using this medication. It has anticoagulant effects that may increase bleeding risk. Those with symptoms of atopic dermatitis should also avoid using this medication, as it may exacerbate dermatitis symptoms. Children under 5 years old should not use this medication, and it should be avoided in mucosal areas such as around the eyes or lips, as well as in areas with wounds, redness, swelling, or severely chapped skin. Consultation with a doctor or pharmacist may be necessary before using this medication in certain cases. Individuals currently receiving other treatments, those with a history of drug allergies, individuals with severe moisture or chafing, and those previously diagnosed with atopic dermatitis should discuss with a specialist. If symptoms of hypersensitivity such as skin rash, redness, itching, irritation, pustules, or swelling occur during use, discontinue immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. Additionally, if symptoms do not improve after 2 weeks of use, stop using the medication and consult a specialist. This medication should be used according to the prescribed method and dosage, taking care to avoid contact with the eyes. If it gets in the eyes, wash thoroughly with clean water, and seek ophthalmological care if symptoms are severe. This medication is intended for external use only, and when used by children, supervision and guidance from an adult is necessary. Take care to avoid touching the eyes or mucosal areas with hands that have come into contact with the medication, and avoid rubbing it directly into ulcerated or chafed areas. When storing, keep away from high temperatures or direct sunlight in a cool, dry place, and out of reach of children. Avoid transferring the medication to other containers, and do not use expired products. It is advisable to use the medication as soon as possible after opening.
