Relief of symptoms such as constipation and loss of appetite, abdominal distension
This medication is used to relieve symptoms such as constipation, loss of appetite due to constipation, abdominal distension, abnormal fermentation in the intestines, and hemorrhoids.
Adults aged 15 years and older: 1 sachet (4g) twice daily, preferably on an empty stomach. The interval between doses should be more than 4 hours. Begin with the minimum dose and adjust the amount based on the consistency of the stool.
Children aged 11 to under 15 years: 2/3 sachet once daily, 7 to under 11 years: 1/2 sachet once daily, 3 to under 7 years: 1/3 sachet twice daily, preferably on an empty stomach.
This medication should not be taken by individuals with acute abdominal diseases or conditions such as intestinal bleeding or ulcerative colitis. Patients with intestinal obstruction should also not use this medication. In addition, infants under 3 years of age should not take this medication. It is advisable not to take this medication within 1 hour after consuming antacids or milk. Special caution is needed for irritating laxatives. If severe abdominal pain, nausea, or vomiting occurs, consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should consult a specialist before taking this medication. Consultation is also necessary before taking this medication for those who are on other medications or have a history of allergies in themselves or family members. Individuals with a history of rectal bleeding or intestinal obstruction should consult a specialist before taking this medication. If symptoms such as skin rashes, redness, itching, severe abdominal pain, diarrhea, or vomiting occur during use, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. If abdominal discomfort or cramps occur, stop taking the medicine and consult a specialist. If constipation does not improve after about a week of use, it is advisable to discontinue use and consult a doctor. It is important to adhere to the prescribed dosage and administration strictly, and guardians should manage the dosage when giving it to children. Long-term use of this medication can lead to tolerance to the drug and worsening of constipation, so it is advisable to avoid use for more than a week. If daily laxatives are needed, it is important to investigate the underlying cause of constipation. This medication should be kept out of reach of children and stored in a sealed container away from direct sunlight, in a cool and dry place. For quality maintenance, it is also safe not to transfer it to another container.
