This medication is used for patients with acute coronary syndrome who need to administer clopidogrel and aspirin together. It helps reduce the risk of death, myocardial infarction, stroke, and other cardiovascular events in patients with unstable angina or non-Q wave myocardial infarction who have undergone medical treatment, percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), or coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG). It is also used to lower the risk of stroke and thromboembolism in patients with atrial fibrillation who have multiple vascular risk factors and for whom vitamin K antagonists are not appropriate. This medication is effective in improving vascular health and reducing the risk of cardiovascular complications.
