How to take

Adult dose

1 tablet orally once daily.

Precautions

This medication may increase the risk of thrombus formation in the blood; therefore, it should be used with caution in patients with a history of thrombosis or those at high risk for thrombosis. In particular, if a state of immobility persists for a prolonged period, discontinuation of this medication should be considered, and it can be resumed after symptoms improve. Since this medication is primarily metabolized in the liver, it should not be administered to patients with poor liver function. The efficacy and safety of this medication have not been established in premenopausal women, and it should not be used in this population. It should not be used for the prevention of cardiovascular diseases and should be administered with caution to patients with a history or high risk of stroke. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should not use this drug, as it may harm the fetus or newborn. Patients with allergic reactions to this medication, liver disorders, unexplained uterine bleeding, or symptoms suggesting endometrial cancer should not use it. Caution is needed in patients with very high triglycerides, poor kidney function, and those with other specific diseases. During the use of this medication, symptoms such as leg cramps, facial flushing, cold symptoms, and peripheral edema may occur; if these symptoms are severe, consult a doctor. Caution is also required when this drug is taken with other medications, especially certain antacids, anticoagulants, and some antibiotics, and it should be taken according to a doctor's instructions. If there are plans for pregnancy or if pregnancy occurs during treatment, or if breastfeeding, this medication should not be taken, and if pregnancy is confirmed during use, the healthcare provider should be notified immediately. This medication should not be used in children or men, and should be used in the elderly with special caution. In case of overdose, symptoms such as dizziness, leg cramps, and vomiting may occur, requiring immediate assistance from healthcare providers. This medication should be stored out of reach of children and should not be transferred to another container.
