In cases where cilostazol as monotherapy is insufficiently effective in vascular-related diseases such as chronic arterial occlusive disease and cerebral infarction, an alternative therapy that combines cilostazol and ginkgo biloba extract may be considered. This combination therapy improves ischemic symptoms such as ulcers, pain, and coldness caused by chronic arterial occlusive disease, and is particularly useful in conditions such as Buerger's disease, obstructive arteriosclerosis, and diabetic peripheral vascular disease. It is also expected to have a preventive effect on recurrent cerebral infarction in patients, excluding those with cardiogenic cerebral embolism. Therefore, this treatment improves blood circulation and alleviates ischemic symptoms, positively impacting the quality of life of patients.
