This medication is used to improve constipation and also alleviates symptoms such as appetite loss, abdominal bloating, abnormal fermentation in the intestines, and hemorrhoids caused by constipation.

How to take

Adult dose

For those aged 15 and older, take 1 to 2 tablets once, twice a day, in the morning and evening on an empty stomach (before or between meals). However, for the first dose, take the minimum amount, and gradually increase or decrease based on the form and condition of the stool.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by patients with acute abdominal diseases or bowel obstruction, as well as children under the age of 7. Additionally, individuals with a genetic inability to break down lactose should not take this medication. It is advisable not to take antacids or milk within 1 hour after taking this medication. If there is severe abdominal pain accompanied by nausea or vomiting, pregnant women or those who might become pregnant, and individuals taking other medications should consult with a professional before using this medication. If any unusual symptoms such as skin rash, severe abdominal pain, diarrhea, or vomiting occur during the course of taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. Also, if abdominal discomfort or cramps occur or if constipation does not improve even after taking the medication for more than a week, consult a professional. It is important to strictly adhere to the prescribed dosage and frequency, and children under the age of 10 are advised to avoid taking it if possible. The tablets should be swallowed whole and not chewed, and long-term use can lead to drug tolerance and worsening of constipation, so continuous use for more than one week is not recommended. Store out of reach of children, and keep away from direct sunlight in a cool, dry place. Moreover, to prevent misuse of the medication and to maintain quality, do not transfer to another container.
