This medication should not be used by patients who are allergic to the active ingredient or any of the components. Using this medication may cause blurred vision, dry eyes, superficial punctate keratitis, or abnormal sensations in the eyes. An unusual taste may also be experienced. When the eyes are red, contact lenses should not be worn, and the preservative benzalkonium chloride contained in this medication may adsorb to soft contact lenses. Therefore, lens wearers should wait at least 5 minutes after administration of this medication before putting in lenses. This medication is an antihistamine that does not cause drowsiness, but may cause temporary blurring of vision after use. Caution should be exercised while driving or operating machinery until vision returns to normal. If a patient receiving long-term steroid treatment uses this medication, the steroid dosage should be gradually reduced under the supervision of a physician. If symptoms do not improve after using this medication, it is advisable not to use it for extended periods. This medication is meant for ophthalmic use only and should not be used as an injectable or oral medication. During pregnancy, the risks and benefits to the fetus must be carefully considered before use, as there have been cases of toxicity to the fetus or offspring when administered at high doses in animal studies. Breastfeeding women should also use this medication with caution, considering its potential excretion in breast milk and the effects on the baby. The safety and efficacy of this medication have not been sufficiently confirmed in children under 2 years of age. No significant safety differences compared to younger patients have been reported for elderly patients. When using the medication, care should be taken to avoid touching the tip of the container to the eye and ensuring the cap is tightly closed after use to prevent contamination. This medication should be stored out of the reach of children, away from direct sunlight, and in a cool place. Transferring to another container may lead to misuse or deterioration in quality, so it should be stored in the original container.
