This medication is used for the initial treatment of skin conditions that are secondarily infected by bacteria sensitive to neomycin. It is effective for the treatment of minor skin injuries such as small lacerations, abrasions, and sutured wounds, as well as superficial second-degree burns. It helps to prevent and treat infections in these wound areas, thus benefiting quick recovery and infection relief of the skin.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Apply an appropriate amount to the affected area 1 to 2 times a day. Do not exceed the recommended dosage.

Precautions

This medicine should not be used by anyone who has an allergic reaction to this medication or its components, or who has experienced such reactions in the past. In addition, individuals allergic to aminoglycoside antibiotics such as streptomycin, kanamycin, gentamicin, or neomycin, as well as bacitracin, should not use this medication. Patients with wounds in the eyes or around the eyes, and those with wounds in the breast area are advised against using this medication, especially if they are nursing, due to the risk of the drug passing to the infant.
