This medication is used in patients who require simultaneous administration of amlodipine and atorvastatin. Amlodipine is effective in treating hypertension and stable or variant angina due to myocardial ischemia, and helps to reduce the risk of angina related to coronary artery disease in patients who are not in heart failure. Atorvastatin reduces the risk of myocardial infarction, stroke, and vascular surgery in patients with multiple cardiovascular risk factors, especially those with type 2 diabetes and coronary artery disease. Additionally, this medication is used in the treatment of primary hypercholesterolemia and dyslipidemia, reducing blood cholesterol and triglycerides while increasing HDL cholesterol to improve cardiovascular health. It is effectively used for reducing cardiovascular disease risk and improving dyslipidemia.
