Precautions

This medication should not be taken by patients with acute abdominal conditions or intestinal obstruction. This medication contains lactose, so patients with a hereditary condition that prevents them from digesting lactose should not take it. While taking this medication, avoid taking antacids or milk at the same time, and maintain at least a 1-hour interval. It is essential to follow the prescribed dosage and frequency, and children under 10 years of age should avoid taking it unless in special circumstances. Do not chew the tablets; swallow them whole, and avoid taking continuously for more than one week to prevent developing a tolerance to the medication, which could worsen constipation.
