Relief of itching and inflammation in corticosteroid-responsive skin conditions
This medication helps relieve itching and inflammation associated with skin conditions that respond to corticosteroids. It reduces skin discomfort and improves symptoms, supporting patients in leading a more comfortable life. This medication is effective in soothing skin inflammation and improving skin conditions, thereby widely used in the treatment of skin diseases.
Apply a thin layer to the affected area once daily and gently rub in until fully absorbed. Occlusive dressings should be avoided.
This medication should not be used in patients with specific skin infections. For example, if there are bacterial, fungal, viral infections or animal-related skin infections, symptoms may worsen. Patients with allergies or a history of hypersensitivity to this medication's ingredients should also refrain from using it. Patients with external ear infections with tympanic membrane perforation, ulcers, serious burns, or frostbite may experience delayed skin healing, so use should be avoided. Additionally, this medication is contraindicated in patients with perioral dermatitis, common acne, rosacea, perianal and genital itching, as well as in infants under 2 years of age. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, breastfeeding women, children, and the elderly should use this medication cautiously, especially those with a history of allergy to propylene glycol, which is included in this product. Skin infections may occur during the use of this medication, and if any symptoms of infection appear, use should be stopped immediately and appropriate treatment sought. Various skin side effects such as skin irritation, rashes, itching, and dry skin may appear, and it is advisable to stop usage if these symptoms develop. Prolonged use may lead to skin thinning or dilation of blood vessels, so it is important to gradually reduce usage and switch to another medication if necessary. Excessive or long-term use over large areas can affect the hormonal function of the entire body, so caution is needed. When used around the eyes, there is a risk of increased intraocular pressure or glaucoma, so special care is required. This medication is not generally used for eczema or dermatitis accompanied by skin infections, but if it must be used, it is advisable to use it in conjunction with antibiotics or antifungal agents. Although this medication is a locally applied steroid, it can be absorbed systemically, which may impact hormonal function, so regular check-ups may be necessary. It is preferable to discontinue the medication as soon as symptoms improve. If blurriness of vision or visual disturbances occur, immediate consultation with a specialist is necessary. Pregnant women should consult a doctor regarding the use of this medication as it may affect the fetus, and breastfeeding women should also use it cautiously. Children are at higher risk for side effects due to a larger surface area relative to body weight, so care should be taken to avoid long-term use of more than 3 weeks. Elderly patients have a higher risk of side effects, so special observation is necessary for large or prolonged use. This medication should not be used for ophthalmic purposes and should not be used for reasons other than treatment, such as after applying makeup or shaving. If using occlusive dressings, it must be done strictly according to a doctor's instructions, and the affected area should be kept clean to reduce the risk of infection. Keep out of reach of children to prevent accidents.
