This medication is used for skin fungal infections caused by dermatophytes, notably athlete's foot, tinea cruris (groin ringworm), and tinea corporis.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Apply an appropriate amount to the affected area once daily.

Precautions

This medication should not be used by individuals who have had allergic reactions to any of its ingredients. Pregnant women or women who may become pregnant, as well as breastfeeding mothers, should also avoid using this medication. Additionally, this medication should not be used in children or infants. It should not be applied to mucous membranes, such as the eyes or surrounding area, the mouth, nose, or vagina. Avoid use on areas of eczema or severe wounds, and on nails or the scalp. It is advisable to discontinue breastfeeding while using this medication. Individuals receiving medical treatment or with a history of drug allergies should consult a healthcare professional before using this medication. If there is a family history of allergies, or if it is unclear whether the symptoms are due to eczema or athlete's foot, it is important to seek professional advice. Consultation is also required prior to use if symptoms are on the face or on a large area, or if there are any pus-filled areas. This medication contains an ingredient called propylene glycol, and those sensitive to this component should use it with caution. If symptoms such as rash, redness, itching, swelling, irritation, heat sensation, dry or cracked skin occur after use, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. If symptoms do not improve or worsen after using for more than 2 weeks, stop use and seek medical advice. Be sure to adhere to the prescribed usage and dosage, and do not use it if the affected area or surrounding area is not clean. Avoid touching eyes or mucous membranes with hands that have come into contact with the medication. If it gets into the eyes, rinse immediately with cold or lukewarm water and seek ophthalmological attention.
