This medication is used for the treatment of keratosis in cracked fingers, elbows, knees, heels, around the lateral malleolus, and dry skin in the elderly. It also helps improve scales, also known as pityriasis. Overall, it is effective in improving skin health in areas that are dry and hardened.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Apply an appropriate amount to the affected area (area of illness) 1 to several times a day.

Precautions

This medication should not be used by individuals allergic to specific ingredients or by children under 15 years of age. This medication should not be applied to mucosal areas such as around the eyes or in the mouth, and should not be used on scrubbed wounds, cracked skin, peeled skin, or inflamed areas. Individuals currently receiving treatment from a physician or who have previously experienced allergic reactions such as rashes, itching, or swelling due to medication or cosmetics should consult a professional before using this medication. If any symptoms such as rashes, redness, itching, pain, heat sensation, or swelling occur while using this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist.
